Glyceryl Monostearate (GMS-40) Glyceryl monostearate is a yellowish waxy solid, this product doesnot dissolve in water, soluble in hot oil, paraffin, ethanol,  acetone, ethyl ether. In food, cosmetics as emulsifier and surfactant, intransparent PVC aggregate as a lubricant.
